Course Objectives:

• The attendee will be able to understand the rationale for ordering a medical consult or clearance.
• The attendee will be able to manage the patient with a stated Penicillin allergy.
• The attendee will be able to understand the reasoning for getting a medical consult for Eliquis patients and when to consider stopping Eliquis prior to treatment.
